Q: WHAT IS ELECTROLYSIS? 

A: Electrolysis is permanent hair removal which is accomplished by destroying the follicle, the well-like structure under the skin that produces the hair. 

Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? 

A: Treatment usually involves a series of treatments that can span anywhere from 3 to 18 months, the average is about a year. Length and frequency of treatment can depend on previous hair, removal methods used, coarseness of the hair, and quantity of the hair. 

Q: WHY ELECTROLYSIS OVER LASER? 

A: Electrolysis is the ONLY Permanent hair removal method recognized by the American Medical Association as well as the Food and Drug Administration. While laser has been approved as a method of hair reduction, it is not recognized as PERMANENT hair removal. 

Q: DOES ELECTROLYSIS WORK FOR EVERYONE? 

A: YES!!! Unlike other types of hair removal services, electrolysis is effective on all hair types and skin colors. Treatments can be performed year-round and is not restricted by tanned skin. Like any other service, the effectiveness of treatment depends on the skill of the operator.
